Earn CAE Credits

ASAE is a CAE Registered Provider, committed to providing education that aligns with the CAE Exam Content Outline for the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential.
All of the education sessions at the ASAE Annual Meeting are CAE-eligible and attendees may earn up to 12 CAE credits for attending the conference education sessions.

Additional CAE Credits can be earned by attending select pre-conference exploration labs* on Saturday, August 10 (3 CAE Credits). *separate fee applies

The following Pre-conference Exploration Labs qualify for CAE Credit:

  • Your Blueprint for Association Innovation: A Design Thinking Workshop
  • Foundations of Ethical AI Governance in Associations Intensive Workshop 
  • Culture by Design - Building Organizations That Thrive

Ethics Credit
The following sessions qualitify for one CAE Ethics Credit:

  • Game of Pwns: Managing Your Board with Strategies for Navigating Factions and Ethical Dilemmas
  • Jeopardy!—Style Association Ethics Showdown: Test Your Knowledge and Win!
  • Solving Ethical Issues Using the Newly Revised ASAE Ethics Toolkit
  • The Ethics Playbook: Turning Dilemmas into Solutions
  • What Would You Do? Ethical Decision-Making in Association Marketing
  • The optional Pre-conference Exploration Lab, Foundations of Ethical AI Governance in Associations Intensive Workshop, qualifies for three CAE ethics credits

The daily breakdown of CAE Credits is as follows:

  • Sat, Aug 9 – 3 Pre-Conference Credits *separate fee applies
  • Sun, Aug 10 – 4 CAE Credits
  • Mon, Aug 11 – 6 CAE Credits
  • Tue, Aug 12 – 2 CAE Credits

Earn CMP Credits

ASAE is registered with the Events Industry Council (EIC) as a CMP Preferred Provider committed to providing education that aligns with the CMP International Standards for the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) credential. All educational sessions at the ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition have been submitted for pre-approval of CE credit hours.

Attendance will be uploaded into attendee’s online CMP profile with EIC and credit will be given automatically. Please allow three weeks after the event has ended for attendance to be recorded. The email address on file with ASAE in your registration must match the email address in your online profile with EIC for the information to be transferred automatically. If your email address does not match, you can still receive credit by self-reporting your attendance.
